General

Is there financial help for home care?

Yes. Depending on your situation, provincial and federal programs and tax credits may help. We review the options with you at no cost.

What happens during a situation review?

We discuss care needs and budget, then walk you through a plan and possible funding sources — with no obligation.

Can I reach you outside office hours?

Yes. Our phone is answered 24/7. After hours, our on-call care coordinator helps with anything that can’t wait, such as a schedule change or a caregiver who can’t make it.

How quickly will you respond to my request?

A care coordinator contacts you the same day (the next morning for requests sent overnight). If it’s urgent, call us — we answer 24/7.

Our services

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Services

Are your personal support workers background-checked?

Yes. Every caregiver passes a criminal background check before joining a client’s care plan.

Can I get just a few hours of help per week?

Absolutely. We offer flexible schedules from a few hours a week up to 24/7 live-in care.

Senior Transportation & Errands

Do you help during the appointment, not just the drive?

Yes. Our caregiver can accompany your loved one inside, take notes and assist throughout, then bring them safely home.

Dementia & Alzheimer's Home Care

Is home care better than a memory-care facility?

For many families, staying home preserves routine and dignity while avoiding the disruption of a move. We help you weigh the options honestly.

How do you keep someone with dementia safe at home?

Through supervision, wandering prevention, home-safety adjustments and consistent caregivers who recognize changes early.

24/7 & Live-in Home Care

What is the difference between live-in and 24-hour care?

Live-in care uses caregivers who stay in the home with scheduled sleep breaks; 24-hour care uses shifts of awake caregivers for continuous supervision. We help you choose based on needs and budget.

Can 24/7 care support dementia at home?

Yes — continuous care is often ideal for dementia, providing routine, safety and a familiar face at every hour.

In-Home Palliative Care

How quickly can palliative home care start?

We can often begin within 24–48 hours of your consultation.

Do you work with our hospice or medical team?

Yes. We complement — never replace — your medical and hospice providers, focusing on daily comfort and support.

Respite Care for Family Caregivers

Can I book respite care on short notice?

Yes, we accommodate short-notice and one-time respite whenever possible.

Companion Care & Social Support

Will it be the same companion each visit?

Yes — consistency is what makes companionship work, so we match one caregiver and keep them with your loved one.

Housekeeping & Home Help

Is this deep cleaning?

We provide light, regular housekeeping focused on safety and comfort rather than heavy deep-cleaning services.

Pharmacy & Prescription Delivery

Can you pick up from our existing pharmacy?

Yes — we work with whichever local pharmacy your family already uses.

Snow Removal for Seniors

Do you offer snow removal on its own, without other care?

Yes. Snow clearing can be booked on its own, or added to an existing care plan.

How quickly do you clear after a snowfall?

We prioritize clients with mobility needs and medical appointments, and aim to clear promptly after each significant snowfall.
